May no elder
be left uncared for.
Hridaye Rohan Foundation is a family-run trust caring for elderly people neglected by their own families and communities — running two free care camps every month, for three years, on nothing but a son's dream and the goodwill of strangers.
A son's dream,
a family's promise.
Hridaye Rohan Foundation did not begin in a boardroom. It began in grief, and in a promise. Founders Indira Hossain and Mohd Monowar Hossain built this Foundation to carry forward the vision their son, Md Rohan Hossain, held for elderly people left uncared for — often by the very families who owed them care in old age.
Today, the Foundation runs its Elderly Care Centre from Kuldiha, Ausgram-II, in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal — serving the elderly, the neglected, and marginalised Adivasi, SC and ST communities of the district, with the same quiet resolve that started it all.
"May every neglected parent find dignity, peace, and a shelter of peace. May humanity rise above all divisions to embrace love and service." — From the Foundation's founding appeal

Health & medical camps
Free health camps, mobile medical vans and healthcare-centre support so basic care reaches people who cannot travel for it.
Women's empowerment
Campaigning for gender and social equality, and helping women participate fully in social, cultural and economic life.
Skills & livelihoods
Training and hands-on support to help poor men, women and children build sustainable livelihoods from their own skills.
Forest & environment
Promoting sustainable, eco-friendly practices and standing up for the protection of local forests and natural resources.
Support to other NGOs
Counselling and managerial support to other non-profits and communities working on similar or connected causes.
Two free camps.
Every month.
For three years.
With minimal outside support and unwavering dedication, our small team has run two free elderly-care service camps every month, without pause, for three years — solely inspired by Rohan's vision. We invite you to be part of what happens next.
